Matthew Jordan is senior legal counsel for KA Real Estate where he is responsible for providing legal oversight to the real estate private equity and debt platforms.

Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2017, Jordan was an attorney in Troutman Sanders’ commercial real estate group, where he represented REITs, open-end funds, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds in all aspects of the real estate transaction process including acquisition and disposition, leasing, project management, development and financing. He previously worked as an associate at Parker Poe Adams and Bernstein.

Jordan earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Wake Forest University and a J.D. from the George Washington University Law School.
