Alex Candia is a senior managing director and head of operations at KA Real Estate where he is responsible for oversight of the investor relations, public relations, client strategy, financial planning and analysis and marketing functions of the group. Candia also serves on the KA Real Estate Executive Committee.

In his previous role, Candia was on the student and multifamily housing investment team where he was responsible for managing operating teams, identifying internal operational efficiencies and opportunities for innovation across student housing and multifamily assets for KA Real Estate. Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2013, Candia held positions at Saatchi & Saatchi and Endeavor.

Candia earned a dual B.A. in Political Science and Film Studies from Occidental College, and an M.B.A. from the Marshall Business School at the University of Southern California.
